Question 1

What can I build with AppForge?

Accepted Answer

AppForge creates responsive websites and focused mobile app prototypes such as trackers, timers, directories, organizers, and calculators. Describe the audience, pages or screens, and main action you need.

Question 2

Does AppForge use real AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your prompt and current project are processed by a server-side AI model to generate or revise the app. Results are not hardcoded responses.

Question 3

Do I own the generated code?

Accepted Answer

AppForge does not claim ownership of your exported source or add a separate commercial-use restriction. You remain responsible for reviewing the output and complying with dependency, model, and intellectual-property terms.

Question 4

How do I deliver a website to a client?

Accepted Answer

Open your project, choose Export, then Download website ZIP. The package includes index.html, the embedded design assets, and a publishing guide. Send it to your client or upload the extracted files to a static website host in an account they control. Connect their domain using that host’s DNS instructions. The client can run and edit the exported files without an AppForge subscription; your saved AppForge project stays in your account.

Question 5

Does a website export include hosting or a backend?

Accepted Answer

The ZIP contains the website’s front-end files. Hosting, a domain, and any production services for contact forms, accounts, payments, or shared data must be configured separately. Browser-local data and your AppForge chat and version history are not transferred. Changes made later in AppForge need to be exported and published again.

Question 6

What uses a build credit?

Accepted Answer

Each message that asks AppForge to generate a new app or revise an existing one uses one credit. A failed provider request returns the reserved credit automatically.

Question 7

Do I need a separate AI account or API key?

Accepted Answer

No. AI generation is included with the AppForge plan. The model connection remains on the server.

Question 8

Does AppForge publish directly to app stores?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. AppForge provides an interactive browser prototype and exported React Native source. Native signing, store accounts, production services, and store submission are separate steps.

Question 9

Can I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open Account, choose Manage billing, and cancel there. Your paid plan remains active through the current billing period.
